Hampi, Karnataka

About This Project

Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India located near Hospet town in the Karnataka state, India. Hampi is charismatic even in its ruined state, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Dotted around the hills and valleys are 500 plus monuments. I have made multiple visits to the ruins of the Vijaynagar empire and it has never stopped me from standing in front of the various monuments in awe. One can get fantastic images of Hampi if you have the patience to wait for those decisive moments.
